LUME, LUME is a collective of wanderers who follow their curiosities around the world and our jewellery is the result of our adventures. Between ferries crisscrossing the Bosphorous and smoky nights dancing to Roma musicians playing the clarinet, we discovered beautiful Afghani ceramic birds in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar. Between taking a taxi to a ferry to a bus to a speedboat to a truck-ride through the tropical forest to arrive at Salvador da Bahia's most serene beach, we learned to tie colourful ribbons on our wrists and make three wishes.

Each piece of jewellery we make contains many stories: the stories of the people who create the individual pieces, the people who make their livelihood by selling them, and us who found and assembled the finished jewellery. As you wear your collection of stories around your neck, your own adventures will weave new memories into the piece. We wish you many wanderings filled with magic, laughter and many incorrect travel directions. Because only when you get lost in a place do you really find a story worth telling.
